Welcome to TinyApps! The one stop site for all mobile applications! On this portal, we feature the latest news and reviews of all the great mobile applications for the various devices around. Our site is divided into:
- 1. iPhone and iPod Touch Applications
- 2. Pocket PC or PPC applications
- 3. Palm Applications, and
- 4. Latest news and technologies
Each platform has it's strengths and weaknesses, and based on those factors, different applications will shine. For example, applications using the accelerometer on the iPhone and iTouch put Apple's device ahead of the rest in that regard. On the other hand, applications that allow you to store and sync files give the Pocket PC an edge that the Apple products lack.
On TinyApps, we wish to celebrate the new role that mobile technologies have come play in our lives and how software that runs on these devices can make our lives easier. Of course, there are many hyped of pieces of software too, and on this site you get to know the best and worst of them.
Mobile applications require careful reviewing as they interact with the user in a different manner from PC applications. Ease of use is a big selling point and lots of applications fail to deliver with their user interface. Look to Palm to maintain it's reputation here!
